Dr. H. R. Emery M.B.,B.S., D.M., M.R.C.P. (London)
Dr. H. Emery is one of only sixteen (16) cardiologists in Jamaica. A proud graduate of Wolmer’s Boys’ School, he did his undergraduate and postgraduate medical training at the University of the West Indies (UWI) before completing his certification with the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and then matriculating to the University of Toronto to undertake his cardiology specialization. His core competencies include clinical cardiology, electrocardiography, echocardiography, stress echocardiography, clinical electrophysiology, nuclear cardiology and diagnostic coronary angiography.
Dr. T.K. Thompson BSc (Hons.), M.B.,B.S., D.M.
Dr. T. Thompson is one of only two (2) adult infectious diseases specialists in clinical practice in Jamaica. A proud graduate of the Queens High School for Girls, Dr. Thompson completed both undergraduate and postgraduate medical training at the University of the West Indies. She then went on to the University of Toronto for her Infectious Diseases fellowship. Her areas of interest include chronic infections, HIV and tuberculosis.
Nurse V. Gordon BSc
Nurse V. Gordon is Pinnacle’s full time registered nurse. She earned her bachelor of science degree from the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona Campus after successful completion of her three (3) year course of study. Shortly thereafter, she sought and obtained registration with the Nursing Council of Jamaica. She has had over three (3) years’ experience in the nursing profession and is fast becoming one of Jamaica’s premier cardiac nurses.
Ms. K. Smith
Ms. K. Smith is Pinnacle’s Customer Service Representative/Receptionist. She attended The Queens School for Girls and the Management Institute for National Development (MIND) where she pursued studies in Customer Service Management. She has over 20 years’ experience in the field of customer service.
